Linda has loved helping people since she was a small child. After becoming a mother, she earned a Master's Degree as well as a Ph.D. in Counseling. Following a successful career as a School Counselor, she became a professor of counseling at Marshall University.
Now retired from college teaching, Linda still helps people enjoy their homes by a process she calls "Gentle Decluttering." She asks questions about items that have piled up over time, helping people learn to let their homes "breathe in AND breathe out." She says, "When we continue to bring purchases or gifts -- or things we make -- INTO our home and never take any of those things OUT of our home, it's as if our home becomes constipated! If our body took in food without regular elimination, it would expand until it exploded. Be as kind to your home as you are to yourself!"
